Tonight, 24th April 2009, I had the distinct honor of accepting the Rosenthal Award on behalf of hundreds of Muslim volunteer physicians and health professionals who saved vision for over 40,000 across many African and Asian countries, under the umbrella of FIMA Save Vision, at the 2009 Convocation of American College of Physicians, held in Philadelphia.
Attached is a photo of the award and yours truly with Dr Jeffrey Harris, President of ACP and Dr. William Applegate, Chirman Board of Regents of ACP.
Congratulations to all involved in this noble cause.
