The Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA) has pledged to establish a
Field Hospital near Gaza which can be shifted to Gaza when permitted. This 50
bedded hospital will be operated by FIMA healthcare professionals (HCP) from
different member countries including Turkiye, Malaysia, Pakistan, UK, US and
others. A large number of highly expert HCP have already volunteered their
services.
FIMA is in the process of negotiating with different vendors in Turkiye for this
purpose. The one time cost of procurement, transport and installation is
approximately USD 4 Million. FIMA plans to operate this field hospital for one year
period and then to donate to either Gaza or Egypt.
