The Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA) herewith extends a
humble offer to assist in the humanitarian disaster created by the conflict and
bombardment of Gaza and its people over the past few weeks.
FIMA was established in 1981 with the sole mission of serving humanity by
coordinating health activities and projects, both regionally and globally. With a
membership of 51 organizations/countries, representing 110,000 health
professionals from all disciplines, and over 30 years of experience in disaster
management and humanitarian relief, we believe that we have the necessary
skills and capacity to assist in the critical medical care of the injured in the Gaza
strip.
