The upheaval in Egypt resulted in over 300 deaths and more than 1,200 serious injuries. Egypt’s health care system was severely tested in providing care, treatment and support for the injured and the families of the deceased martyrs. Our brothers and sisters in IMA Egypt and Arab Medical Union need our support now just as any other humanitarian disaster that we had experienced and responded to in the recent past.
