This conference is hosted by the Sunshine Muslim Volunteers (SMV),
SMV members are Muslim health professionals who commit and devote their time, efforts and other resources at their disposal to contribute to the provision of quality health care services to Tanzanians. So far we have been able to conduct outreach services to various areas in the country. Furthermore we have established a health facility there in Dar es Salaam which focuses on provision of services to women and children, and todate, more than 15,000 women have accessed services. In addition, we collaborate with other institutions in matters of health promotion and capacity building in health. In the near future, we intend to scale up these activities to reach and benefit more people in our country.
