Brothers in Islam

This conference is hosted by the Sunshine Muslim Volunteers (SMV),

SMV members are Muslim health professionals who commit and devote their time, efforts and other resources at their disposal to contribute to the provision of quality health care services to Tanzanians.  So far we have been able to conduct outreach services to various areas in the country. Furthermore we have established a health facility there in Dar es Salaam which focuses on provision of services to women and children, and todate, more than 15,000 women have accessed services.   In addition, we collaborate with other institutions in matters of health promotion and capacity building in health. In the near future, we intend to scale up these activities to reach and benefit more people in our country.

Brothers in Islam

In this meeting there are number of Issues which are going to be discussed, let make this opportunity a fruitfull to me, you and our Muslim Ummah, you have travelled long Distance to Arusha, using your time, money and other resources to facilitate your travel. It will be non sense if you will not think on them and only thinking on how you will make this event joyfull. There are number of critical issues which are facing our Ummah, Please let use our time to bring up solutions and way forward toward them.

Finally may I Urge all of us to rectify and purify our intentions (NIA) toward this noble activities. If we travel all these distances for Dunia, we will get it. And if we travel for the sake of Allah, am sure He will reward you in unknown ways.

Welcome once again to Tanzania but when you seen weakness please and please try not to spread it,  its because of our humanity, and once you see any strength is because of your cooperation and the will of ALLAH.

Thank you very much
