FINAL REMINDER TO ATTEND 34th FIMA COUNCIL MEETING AND FIMA-HAYAT FOUNDATION SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE. 17-23 JULY, 2017

On behalf of ExCo of FIMA (Federation of Islamic Medical Associations), I take this opportunity to invite you to attend the 34th FIMA Council meeting and FIMA-Hayat Foundation Scientific meeting to be held in Istanbul from 17-23rd July 2017.

A parallel FIMA youth camp for medical and allied health students will also be held (separately for male and female students). FIMA is a registered body of 30 IMAs and 20 associate members and affiliates worldwide with its headquarter in USA.

Federation of Islamic Medical Associations aims to foster the unity and welfare of Muslim medical and health care professionals, to promote Islamic medical activities including health services, education and research through co-operation and co-ordination among member organizations, to promote the understanding and the application of Islamic principles in the field of medicine, to mobilize professional and economic resources in order to provide medical care and relief to affected areas and communities, and to promote the exchange of medical information and technical expertise among member organizations. 

It is a not for profit, non-political and non-Governmental organization. 

The main FIMA projects includes (but not limited to) CIMCO (consortium of Islamic Medical Colleges), IHC (Islamic Hospital Consortium), FIMA Relief, FIMA Save-Vision, FIMA Save-Smile, FIMA Students wing, Year Books, HIV AIDS resource center and many others.

It will be a great opportunity for you and your esteemed organization to join the largest medical activity of Muslim medical community.

This Congress will be preceded by the FIMA Council Meeting and FIMA Youth Camp @ Istanbul hosted by Hayat Foundation.

The Congress on “HEALTH IN AFRICA” will bring together FIMA members, government representatives, decision makers, NGO members, relief organisations and academics from all over the world.

A wide range of topics, not limited to medical issues would discuss the various determinants (socio-economic) of “HEALTH IN AFRICA”
