Our colleague on the ground in Cairo, Dr Malik of Palestinian International Relief Aid PIMA reports that a Malaysian contingent have arrived. They included a media team and members of UMNO Putra. This is the initiative of the PM of Malaysia.

Dr Malik who has been negotiating with Egyptian intelligence on behalf of FIMA/PIMA/AMU adds:
"yesterday was a meeting with the head of Palestine Red Crescent in Egypt. They got permission to enter Gaza within 3 days with medical supplies. But today will meet the head of Palestine Red Crescent again to find out if given OK Egyptian authorities."
