Relief Activity for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon

Dear Brothers and Sisters of FIMAworldwide:

Assalamo Alaikom Warahmat ALLAH wabarakatoh:

Grateful to ALLAH, I had the chance to perform a relief act in AL-BEQA- Lebanon for 5 days in collaboration with the logistic assistance of Islamic Relief Worldwide office and the Union of Relief and Developmental Associations, in Lebanon.

In an urgent personal response to the "snowy storm" that hit Lebanon in the last week, I Alhamdolel ALLAH decided to perform a relief action after gathering as much as I can of fundS from my intimate contacts and relatives for this purpose..

Alhamdolel ALLAH I gathered 65KUSD (more than half a million Egyptian pounds) in just 4days, which was an unexpected huge amount  ALHAMDOLEL ALLAH.
 
So I left for Lebanon with one of my sons (AHMAD) and safely passed the customs in Cairo airport.
 
We arrived in Beirut and  immediately planned with the 2 above mentioned relief agencies that are specialized and working in the field, and arranged to help the most needed Refugee camps according to their schedule of providing help.

We purchased many needed stuff items to help Syrian Refugees as recommended by them:
1- Blankets
2-Jackets for children
3- Woolen head-caps, gloves and neck-covers to children.
4- Plastic shoes lined with fur for children.
5- Woolen dresses for women
6- Heaters operated by Mazot fuel.
7- Mazot containers filled with 20 Liters for families.
8- Sponge Mattresses.
9- Packets filled with detergents and cleaning materials for family enough for 1 month.
10- Hygienic Kits for women use.
11-A water pump for a well in one of the biggest refugee camp.
12- Four Mobile Clinics (full-day work) in different camps that treated 1,500 patients with medicines.

I declared frankly to the refugees that we came to you to stress on the Islamic Brotherhood that ties us together as ALLAH (SWT) says:
(إنماالمؤمنونأخوة)

 and to implement the saying of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) that means: ALLAH is helping His servant as long as His servant is in need for his brothers:
(واللهفيعونالعبدماكانالعبدفيعونأخيه)

Also I stressed that these are GIFTS, not a favour from your Brothers and Sisters from Egypt to our Brothers and Sisters from Syria and that  although we in Egypt are suffering from injustice, and have very difficult times nowadays, yet , we cannot forget our brothers in Syria.

Alhamdolel ALLAH, the positive spiritual effect of these words among refugees was always much more than the help we provided to them. We are Grateful to ALLAH):
(وماتوفيقيإلابالله)

Lastly:
This action was entirely by the blessings of ALLAH , who Guided us and Helped us to do so.
(الحمدللهوحده)  

My intention in mentioning this to YOU in FIMA is to THANK ALLAH and to encourage ourselves not to spare any effort to help others, as ALL the Things will be facilitated and done perfectly by ALLAH’s WILL and not by our little poor efforts.
